Our Vision:
Where members have an opportunity to socialise, increase skills and knowledge and gain self esteem through positive and practical interaction with their peers.
We are a non-judgemental apolitical incorporated organisation which is open to both men and women.
Our joining fee is $20 per annum and this helps to cover our insurance. There is an entry fee of $2.50 per day or $6.00 per week when you use the shed which helps cover insurance costs. All new members are asked to do an induction course for health and safety reasons.
We are open from 10-00am till 4-00pm Monday to Thursday and Saturdays depending on our volunteers.
The Guild does work for the elderly or infirmed at a cost recovery basis only or for free. Our members believe in helping other community groups and we have formed partnerships.
The Guild is not grant dependant and we have a presence at the local markets and hold raffles to raise money as well as holding an Open Day Fair each year.
The members meet on the last Thursday of the month at 11.00am in the Old Railway Shed St Marys Tasmania.
